MOC-Approved CME and CNE Provided by LAMMICO at SIDM

Misdiagnosis accounts for one of today’s most harmful and least addressed patient safety issues. The Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine (SIDM) is internationally renowned for their dedication to identifying the cognitive and systems-related causes of diagnostic error and finding solutions that improve diagnostic accuracy, efficiency and patient safety.

SIDM is hosting the annual Diagnostic Error in Medicine (DEM) International Conference in New Orleans on November 4-6, 2018. The overall goal of the conference is for all attendees to leave with a clear vision of how they may improve diagnostic safety. As an accredited provider of Continuing Medical Education (CME) since 1997, LAMMICO is proud to provide MOC-approved CME and CNE for this year’s DEM conference.

Physicians, nurses, other healthcare professionals, policymakers and patient advocates are invited to participate. Find out more about SIDM the DEM Conference here.

We hope to see you there, but in the meantime, know that our subsidiary risk management company, Medical Interactive Community (MI), hosts an entire section of diagnostic risk mitigating e-learning. This suite of online coursework has become the cornerstone of our risk management continuing medical education program, as this singular issue tops the statistics for cause of medical malpractice claims. In fact, the current president of SIDM, Dr. Mark Graber, has contributed significantly to a wealth of other diagnostic error-combatting continuing education.
