
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) is offering FREE live HIPAA training focused on the needs of small-practice healthcare providers.
The training will be conducted by the OCR's HIPAA investigators and will include topics from the Privacy, Security and Breach Notification Rules including:
- Individual rights
- Administrative Requirements
- Safeguards
- Business Associate Agreements
- Minimum Necessary
- Risk Analysis
- Risk Management
- Enforcement Updates
The presentation will review the regulations and discuss what actions providers should take to meet compliance. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers during each presentation. The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in these locations:
